Food Services

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The SRISD food services provide all students with breakfast and lunch without charge. In an effort to influence children’s lifelong eating habits, the department works closely with the Texas Department of Agriculture to implement nutrition policies and programs to fight obesity and to have healthier, well-nourished students.

The elementary cafeteria serves students in Pre-K through 5th grade and the cafetorium serves students in 6th through 12th grade.

The department caters to other departments as needed, as well as providing for special student needs during testing or for field trips.

Thank you!
